The HandShoeMouse Shift has a patented design and is fully focused on ergonomics.
The design of the original HandshoeMouse has been continued in the design of the ambidextrous Shift. The updated shape provides more support for your thumb joint.
Your hand rests on the entire surface of the mouse and fits like a glove. A lightly slanted palm and finger supporting computer mouse requires the least muscle activity in the hand and results in reduced neural excitation.
Further, the ambidextrous Shift can be easily switched from left to right, so that you can use the mouse with both hands alternating.
The special mouse keeps the wrist from bending as much to the side while the forearm also turns inward to a lesser degree (Schmid et al., 2015). This means that muscle activity in the forearm is less than it would be when using a conventional mouse (Quemelo & Vieira, 2013).
